Living Learning House

So I forgot to mention this to everyone last weekend like I intended, but a few weeks ago my friend Stanley and I decided that we are going to apply for a Living Learning House next year with a diversity theme.  However, I'm having a hard time finding people who want to apply with us.  In order to be eligible the residents of a Living Learning House must plan and present three programs per quarter.  Two of these programs have to be available to the entire community, and one of the programs is an in-house event for the residents to expand knowledge/skills about the house's specific theme.

If you are interested just leave a comment, the applications are made available during the sixth week of this quarter so there's a few weeks to think about it.  Also, keep in mind that the theme of the house is going to be diversity, so I am trying to put together a group that is diverse as possible on racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and spiritual levels.

Hey Everybody!!!

So I wanted to find a way for all of us, and any newcomers as well, to continue to have group discussions about race and other important topics that we couldn't get to at the retreat. I have faith that we can keep the flame that we ignited last weekend burning strong and that we can pass the torch to the rest of the college community.
